'Today's Air Force' features war-zone support

  • Published
This edition of "Today's Air Force" highlights what Air Force men and women are doing to support the war on terrorism in Southwest Asia. See how three hospitals, each run by representatives of a different country, come together to provide the utmost medical training to Afghan medical students.

Also featured is the E-9 Widget, a twin turbo-prop aircraft that plays an essential role in the surveillance of the Gulf Cost waters, keeping civilian boaters and aircraft from danger during live-missile launches.

And witness several training exercises that improve the performance of Airmen when under pressure.

The 30-minute, weekly news show can be seen every day on The Pentagon Channel, American Forces Radio and Television Service stations around the world, and is available via podcast at http://www.af.mil/library/podcast.asp.
