Brake it down
Airman 1st Class James Giesick and Airman 1st Class Ryan McMillen hold a tire while Tech. Sgt. Chris Reiter maneuvers the dolly for removal of a tire on a KC-135 Stratotanker Sept. 28 at an air base in Southwest Asia. The tire needed to be removed and the brake unit replaced after a crack in the heat shield was detected during a post-flight inspection. Sergeant Reiter, a native of Farmington, N.M., is deployed from Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash. Airman Giesick is from San Diego and deployed from Grand Forks AFB, N.D., and Airman McMillen, originally from Warsaw, Ill., is deployed from McConnell AFB, Kan.
