'Today's Air Force' features airborne warning and control

  • Published
During this edition of "Today's Air Force" you will "travel" on a NATO airborne warning and control system, or AWACS, aircraft, and also learn how Air Force officials are working to better align the intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance agency in the Pacific.

Another segment features the Defense Biometric Identification Database System, or D-BIDS, which not only acts as a physical protection measure but also as a deterrent.

Finally, go behind the scenes to witness the daily efforts to keep the busiest air base in Southwest Asia supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

The 30-minute, weekly news show can be seen every day on The Pentagon Channel, American Forces Radio and Television Service stations around the world, and is available via podcast at http://www.af.mil/library/podcast.asp.
