'Today's Air Force' features global vigilance, reach, power Published Sept. 1, 2008 SAN ANTONIO (AFPN) -- This edition of "Today's Air Force" highlights how the Air Force safeguards America by providing global vigilance, global reach and global power in the war on terrorism. Also highlighted is an essential type of training: Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape, or SERE training. See how this military program prepares Air Force men and women for worst-case scenarios.
