Academy NCO found guilty, sentenced in court-martial Published Aug. 27, 2008 U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AFPN) -- An NCO assigned to the U.S. Air Force Academy was found guilty by a military judge of two violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice during a special court-martial Aug. 26 here. The violations for Staff Sgt. Angeline Bakkila, who is not a cadet and assigned to the 10th Aerospace Medicine Squadron, included larceny and wrongfully fleeing from the police. Sergeant Bakkila was sentenced to a bad conduct discharge, forfeiture of $500 in pay for three months, reduction to the grade of E-2, and 75 days confinement.
