ARPC officials announce lieutenant colonel promotions Published Aug. 14, 2008 DENVER (AFPN) -- Air Reserve Personnel Center officials here announced results for the fiscal 2009 Air Force Reserve Line and Health Professions Lieutenant Colonel Promotion Selection Boards today. These boards selected 893 Citizen Airmen for promotion. The selection boards convened at the center here June 9 - 13 to determine those officers qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 893 of 1,726 officers considered. A complete list of Citizen Airmen selected for promotion is available online. Categories considered during these promotion boards are: Air Force Reserve line, dental corps, medical corps, nurses corps, medical services corps and biomedical services corps. The results are: Selection statistics in-the-promotion zone: Participating Reserve - 600 line officers selected from 933 considered for a 64 percent selection rate. - Three dental corps officers selected from seven considered for a 43 percent selection rate. - 22 medical corps officers selected from 27 considered for an 81 percent selection rate. - 37 nurse corps officers selected from 58 considered for a 64 percent selection rate. - Nine medical service corps officers selected from 18 considered for a 50 percent selection rate. - Nine biomedical sciences corps officers selected from 14 considered for a 64 percent selection rate. Nonparticipating Reserve - One line officer selected from 23 considered for a 4 percent selection rate. - No dental corps officers selected from two considered. - One medical corps officer selected from 14 considered for a 7 percent selection rate. - One nurse corps officer selected from eight considered for a 13 percent selection rate. - One biomedical sciences corps officer selected from three considered for a 33 percent selection rate. - No medical service corps officers were considered.
