'Today's Air Force' features deployed Airmen Published July 28, 2008 SAN ANTONIO (AFPN) -- In this edition of "Today's Air Force" you will discover how Airmen are helping the Afghan air corps become self sufficient. And, you see how the C130J Hercules is reducing the number of ground convoys by delivering supplies to operating bases. Also featured is the different ways Airmen entertain themselves while deployed. One such case is the Second Annual Boston Marathon in Iraq. This marathon has become one of the biggest recreation events for the coalition forces in Iraq. And finally, "Doctors without Borders." Airmen pass along medical knowledge to Mali doctors during the MedFlag 2008 Exercise where more than one thousand medical professionals provide service to nearly 12 million citizens.
