'Today's Air Force' features deployed Airmen

In this edition of "Today's Air Force" you will discover how Airmen are helping the Afghan air corps become self sufficient. And, you see how the C130J Hercules is reducing the number of ground convoys by delivering supplies to operating bases.

Also featured is the different ways Airmen entertain themselves while deployed. One such case is the Second Annual Boston Marathon in Iraq. This marathon has become one of the biggest recreation events for the coalition forces in Iraq.

And finally, "Doctors without Borders." Airmen pass along medical knowledge to Mali doctors during the MedFlag 2008 Exercise where more than one thousand medical professionals provide service to nearly 12 million citizens.

The 30-minute, weekly news show can be seen every day on The Pentagon Channel, American Forces Radio and Television Service stations around the world, and is available via podcast at http://www.af.mil/library/podcast.asp. The show also airs on more than 100 public cable-access stations within the United States.
