Airman's Roll Call highlights sexual assault prevention

  • Published
This week's Airman's Roll Call focuses on steps Airmen, wingmen and supervisors can take to protect themselves from sexual assault.

One action Airmen can take to reduce their risk of sexual assault is to exercise situational awareness -- know where you're going, who you're going with, what the environment is like, and let someone know.

Also, Airmen should look for opportunities to protect each other from sexual assault. Act when you witness behaviors that leave others uncomfortable or you have reason to believe they're being targeted as a victim and report it. You may prevent another victim and hold perpetrators accountable.

Airman's Roll Call is designed for supervisors at all levels to help keep Airmen informed on current issues, clear up confusion, dispel rumors and provide additional face-to-face communication.
