One of the Air Force's top priorities is helping rebuild Iraq's shattered Air Force from the ground up. It's what Airmen are doing all over Iraq and in Afghanistan.

"Giving Iraq new wings," is just one of the feature stories in the March-April 2008 issue of Airman, now available in print and online at www.af.mil/news/airman.

Some other stories in the issue -- available online as Portable Document Format, or PDF files -- include:

"Michelle's Yellow Rose." The story chronicles Airman Paige Villers' quest for honor as she fought for her life against a deadly virus and the Airmen who remained at her side.
In the story "Airmen for the Americas," find out how the more than 60-year old Inter-American Air Forces Academy continues to train Airmen from Latin America and the Caribbean.

And in "A bigger wolf pack," read about how American and South Korean Airmen are building closer ties and a more potent fighting capability through extended joint training.
