3 people found dead in Tinker AFB housing unit Published Feb. 25, 2008 TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, OKLA. (AFPN) -- Three people are dead following an apparent homicide/suicide at Tinker Air Force base, Okla., Feb. 25. Tinker AFB security forces and Oklahoma County law enforcement officials responded to a domestic disturbance in the military family housing area at approximately 2:30 p.m. after being advised of a potential hostage situation. At approximately 4:30 p.m., a joint response force entered the residence and discovered the remains of three individuals -- one adult and two children. In accordance with Air Force policy, the names are being withheld for 24 hours following notification of next of kin. Additional information will be provided during a press conference at the Tinker AFB Hill Conference Center at 5:30 p.m. The incident is under investigation by Air Force Office of Special Investigations and the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office.
