'Today's Air Force' features airlift, medical training

  • Published
This week's edition of "Today's Air Force" highlights the Air Force's state-of-the-art technology for both air and ground operations.

Also featured is a segment on cargo airlift in Southwest Asia.

Airmen deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan deliver supplies to dangerous locations and, at the same time, ensure the safety of the crews while unloading.

And Airmen mentors go beyond teaching how to fix and fly aircraft; they also are training their airborne Afghan counterparts how to save lives through a medical training mentorship.

The 30-minute, weekly news show can be seen every day on The Pentagon Channel, American Forces Radio and Television Service stations around the world, and is available via podcast at http://www.af.mil/library/podcast.asp.
