Bagram medical members important part of team
Senior Airman Michael Luc verifies the accuracy of an infusion pump used for patient medication Feb. 5 at the Craig Joint Theater Hospital at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan. Airman Luc is a biomedical equipment technician deployed from the 60th Medical Support Squadron at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. The Bagram AB hospital is named for heroic Army medic Staff Sgt. Heathe Craig, who died while trying to save a patient in 2006. As the two were being hoisted from a ridgeline by a Blackhawk helicopter the line to the chopper snapped. Sergeant Craig and his patient fell to their deaths. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt Demetrius Lester)
