'Today's Air Force' highlights the war on terrorism

This week's edition of "Today's Air Force" highlights the war on terrorism, to include a deployment exercise in Northern Italy and readiness centers set up to help families cope with the deployment of mothers and fathers.

Also featured is the impact of Air Force medical professionals throughout Iraq, and the nightly occurrences that bring the wounded to the Air Force theater hospital. Some arrive on helicopters, many fighting to survive the wounds of war. Along with tending to injuries, the medical professionals also provide emotional care

Finally, learn about Youth Generations, a group that organizes various activities aimed at keeping Afghan children away from drugs and violence.

The 30-minute, weekly news show can be seen every day on The Pentagon Channel and American Forces Radio and Television Service stations around the world and is available via podcast at http://www.af.mil/library/podcast.asp. The show also airs on more than 100 public cable-access stations within the United States.
