'Today's Air Force' features alternative energy sources Published Jan. 14, 2008 SAN ANTONIO (AFPN) -- This week's edition of "Today's Air Force" highlights an Air Force priority: alternative sources of energy. Milestones have already been reached in the synthetic fuel testing program, and another version of the fuel has been used in some flightline ground vehicles that run on aviation gas. Also featured is how the American military is helping the Iraq government to both rebuild its infrastructure and protect its legitimate efforts to rule. The final segment features children's programs. See how sponsorship programs and family advocacy programs ease the transition for active duty parents and their children. And a special segment on Hippo-therapy. Witness how this treatment helps children with developmental disorders. The 30-minute, weekly news show can be seen every day on The Pentagon Channel, American Forces Radio and Television Service stations around the world, and is available via podcast at http://www.af.mil/library/podcast.asp. The show also airs on more than 100 public cable-access stations within the United States.
