AFPC automates enlisted early separation request process Published Oct. 19, 2007 RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas (AFPN) -- Enlisted Airmen will no longer have to visit the Military Personnel Flight to apply for early separation after Oct. 29 due to the Personnel Services Delivery Transformation effort. On that date, enlisted Airmen can apply for early separation through a program on the virtual Military Personnel Flight. The online program provides eligibility requirements and program restrictions, and provides Airmen the capability to scan and attach supporting documents for their request to separate early. "Like some of the other applications we've fielded, the beauty of this application is Airmen can review information online, make a career impacting decision and act on that decision at any time without waiting for the MPF to open," said Col. Bill Foote, the director of Personnel Services at the Air Force Personnel Center here. For more information on applying for early separation, Airmen should visit the vMPF. They may also call the Air Force Contact Center at 800-616-3775. Comment on this story (comments may be published on Air Force Link) View the comments/letters page
