KC-135 refuels F-16 Fighting Falcons
A KC-135 Stratotanker refuels an F-16 Fighting Falcon in this stock photo. The same types of aircraft were used April 6 to trail a stolen Cessna that crossed into the U.S. from Canada and landed in Missouri after a seven-hour ordeal. The KC-135 that supported the F-16s operated under command and control of the 618th Tanker Airlift Control Center, Air Mobility Command's hub for worldwide airlift, air refueling and aeromedical evacuation operations.
