Five members of the Air Force Weather Agency here delivered more than 200 pounds of school supplies Aug. 23 to Indian Hill Elementary School students in Omaha, Neb.

Staff Sgt. Kenyatta Williams, the assistant NCO in charge of net-centric database management and data routing for the Air Force Weather Agency, began working with the Omaha School District Public Affairs staff in January and they chose Indian Hill Elementary School as a beneficiary of supplies.

The Indian Hill Elementary principal agreed to receive the donated supplies, and "we sponsored four third-grade classes," said Sergeant Williams, a native of Dayton, Ohio.

Broken down into four mobile classrooms, third-grade students at Indian Hill Elementary looked on as members of the Air Force Weather Agency delivered pens, pencils, notebooks and crayons.

"It's nice to show our positive involvement with the local communities here," said Staff Sgt. Brandon Jacobson, the NCO in charge of network infrastructure for the 2nd Systems Operations Squadron and native of Albert Lea, Minn.

Indian Hill Elementary, which educates an ethnically diverse group of children ages 4 to 12 from low-income families, is a "Title One" school and eligible for grants, federal funding and community donations.
