Junior ROTC cadets explore Air Force careers
Air Force Junior ROTC Cadets Kyle Esquibel and Daniel Phalin look inside the cockpit of an F-16 Fighting Falcon as Staff Sgt. Luis Otero explains some of the controls. Sergeant Otero and the F-16 are from the New Mexico Air National Guard's 150th Fighter Wing at Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M. Cadets from Junior ROTC units worldwide visited various science and technology centers and several Air Force bases as part of the 2007 Air Force Junior ROTC Aerospace and Technology Honor Camps. Approximately 450 cadets attended one of eight camps this year in New Mexico and Oklahoma. Currently, there are more than 100,000 cadets in the Air Force Junior ROTC program worldwide.
