Senior Enlisted Leader Summit
Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Rodney J. McKinley is greeted by Air Education and Training Command and Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., command chief master sergeants July 21 at Maxwell. Chief McKinley and other senior enlisted leaders arrived for the start of the 2007 Senior Enlisted Leader Summit held at nearby Gunter Annex, Ala. "We're eager to begin the summit," Chief McKinley said. "The Air Force is currently capitalizing on many opportunities and faces several challenges the senior enlisted leaders gathering here are uniquely qualified to address. I'm looking forward to the information, dialogue and ideas we'll be sharing." As a cost-saving measure, the Office of the CMSAF arranged for military air, a Navy C-9, to transport senior enlisted leaders from the National Capitol Region to the summit. The summit kicks off July 22 with a day of physical and athletic conditioning and runs until July 27. (U.S. Air Force photo/Melanie Rodgers)
