Latest 'Today's Air Force' now available Published June 25, 2007 SAN ANTONIO (AFNEWS) -- This week's edition of "Today's Air Force" highlights six Airmen receiving the new Air Force Combat Action Medal presented by the Air Force chief of staff during a recent ceremony in Arlington, Va. Also in this week's edition, take a view from an air traffic control tower in Baghdad, and experience the vital role these Airmen play in the success of the war on terrorism. Visit a couple of the best Air Force medical facilities in Germany where the Defense Secretary Robert Gates awarded six Purple Hearts. And be part of an "Air Force Week" where recruiters are helping the United States' brightest individuals serve their country as Airmen. This year the Air Force decided to have multiple Air Force Weeks throughout the United States. The next location will in St. Louis July 2 to 8. In addition, watch the Air Force in action as the "Stargate SG-1" television series makes its way to a movie production. The long-format, weekly news show tells Air Force stories in more depth. The program is made up of three segments and each runs approximately eight minutes. Although each can stand alone, they are related to form a seamless program.
