The FOX News Network's "FOX and Friends" morning program will broadcast live from 7 to 9 a.m. Eastern time June 8 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base as the show makes its third Air Force stop on its Salute to the Troops Tour.

Co-anchor Brian Kilmeade will be on location telecasting reports to his co-anchors in New York, as well as to a worldwide audience.

He will discuss the missions and events unique to the base, and interview some of the people who make them happen.

Among those scheduled to be interviewed and topics scheduled to be discussed are:

-- Gen. Bruce Carlson, who will talk about Air Force issues and heritage, as well as Air Force Materiel Command's unique contributions to the warfighter. General Carlson is the commander of AFMC, which is headquartered at Wright-Patterson AFB.

-- Maj. Gen. Ted F. Bowlds, who will explain several warfighting technologies. General Bowlds is the commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory, also headquartered at Wright-Patterson AFB.

-- Lt. Col. (Dr.) Mark Cucuzzella, who will share tips on running and other wellness-related issues. Colonel Cucuzzella was the 2006 overall winner of the Air Force Marathon, which takes place annually at Wright-Patterson AFB. The 11th Air Force Marathon is scheduled to occur Sept. 15.

Placing Ohio's largest single-site employer in the national spotlight, the FOX and Friends program will broadcast live from the flightline in front of servicemembers assigned here. The Air Force Band of Flight will also perform.

In the event of inclement weather, the program will broadcast live from the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force.
