Week in Photos features Airmen around the globe

The "Week In Photos" Web feature on Air Force Link provides visitors with photos that highlight Air Force missions around the world. 

Among this week's photos are:

At Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, firefighters battle a blaze as part of a training exercise. During the 101 Critical Days of Summer, safety is a primary concern for all Airmen including fire safety from cooking and barbecuing.

At the Hampton-Richmond National Cemetery Complex in Virginia, retired Tech. Sgt. Robert E. Havener (front) and Senior Airman Justin D. Hunniecutt play "Taps" as part of "Echo Taps Worldwide." The event featured buglers and trumpeters performing simultaneously at veterans cemeteries worldwide in observance of Armed Forces Day.

Staff Sgt. Robert Culbertson pays his respects during a Final Guard Mount ceremony at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The ceremony recognized fallen security forces Airmen. It was held in conjunction with National Police Week.
