Air Force leaders call attention to Memorial Day significance

  • Published
Secretary of the Air Force Michael W. Wynne and Chief of Staff Gen. T. Michael Moseley have signed a letter reminding Airmen that Memorial Day means much more than "merely a three-day weekend."

The leaders wrote that "Memorial Day is an opportunity for Americans to pay homage to those who died serving the nation and acknowledge the immense debt we owe them and the families and loved ones they left behind."
