AFA names civilians of 2007

RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas (AFPN) --  Air Force officials have chosen four civilians for the 2007 Air Force Association Outstanding Air Force Civilian Employees of the Year Award.

The recipients are:

-- Civilian Wage Employee of the Year Award is David Smart from Hurlburt Field, Fla.

-- Civilian Program Specialist of the Year Award is Christopher Nordberg of Hill Air Force Base, Utah.

-- Civilian Program Manager of the Year Award is Robert Lefever of Moody AFB, Ga.
 
-- Civilian Senior Program Manager of the Year Award is Robert Renko from Linthicum, Md.

The senior program manager award will be presented in September during the AFA's 2007 Air and Space Conference and Technology Exposition in Washington, D.C. All other award winners will be recognized at appropriate state and local chapter ceremonies in coordination with the winner's local commander.

Each winner is authorized the Air Force Recognition Ribbon lapel pin.
