The "Week In Photos" Web feature on Air Force Link provides visitors with photos that highlight Air Force missions around the world. Among this week's photos are:

In Alaska, seven F-16 Fighting Falcons fly in formation over the Pacific Alaska Range Complex. The F-16s are from the 18th Fighter Squadron at Eielson Air Force Base.

Deployed Senior Airman Joseph Cordero, Staff Sgt. Andrew House and Staff Sgt. Barrett Read troubleshoot an electronic error on an A-10 Thunderbolt II on the flightline at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq. The Airmen are assigned to the 438th Air Expeditionary Group.

On the East Coast, the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets regiment stands in formation along the hills of a cemetery in Blacksburg, Va., to honor Cadet Matthew La Porte. He was a sophomore in Air Force ROTC Detachment 875 and the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets and was one of the 32 students and faculty killed during the shooting incident at the school April 16.
