Ten Airmen selected for AFIT degree program

Air Force officials recently selected 10 enlisted Airmen to continue their education through the Enlisted to Air Force Institute of Technology Graduate Degree Program.

Nine Airmen will pursue their degree programs at AFIT at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio; one Airman will study at an AFIT-sponsored civilian institution.

The 10 Airmen and the degree programs they will study are:
Tech. Sgt. Timothy W. Batten, industrial hygiene;
Master Sgt. Joe M. Blackman, logistics management;
Tech. Sgt. Michael A. Fetters, information systems management;
Master Sgt. Theodore Heiman, logistics management;
Master Sgt. Daphne R. McGill, information resource management;
Master Sgt. Thomas M. Sprague, logistics management;
Master Sgt. Daniel Tucker, information resource management;
Master Sgt. Michael Wabiszewski, cyber operations/information assurance;
Master Sgt. Michael T. Woelfle, cyber operations/information assurance; and
Tech. Sgt. Damien T. Tymes, economic crime.

Airmen interested in applying for the 18-month program must be at least a technical sergeant with a minimum of eight years time in service, 24 months time on station and have three years retainability upon graduation.
