-- The "Week In Photos" Web feature on Air Force Link provides visitors with photos that highlight Air Force missions around the world. Among this week's photos are:

An Airman with the 332nd Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron's Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight at Balad Air Base, Iraq, safely conducts a controlled detonation. The EOD Airmen regularly destroy unserviceable and dangerous ordnance.

Airmen from Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, test their aircrew combat skills during a live-fire exercise. Capt. Oliver Rick moves his A-10 Thunderbolt II into position behind a KC-135 Stratotanker over the Pacific Alaska Range Complex. Captain Rick is from the 355th Fighter Squadron at Eielson.

While deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, an Airman participating in the Volunteer Community Reach Program April 8 holds an Afghan child in Dar Ul Aman. Volunteers for the outreach program were distributing bags of clothes, shoes and toys donated from U.S. citizens.

In Kabul, Tech. Sgt. John Asselin carries a bag of supplies April 10 for victims of the first flood in the capital city in more than 15 years. The Training Assistance Group servicemembers from Camp Alamo coordinated food distribution efforts to supply more than 100 pounds of rice, beans, and other supplies to hundreds of families who lost their homes.
