The "Week In Photos" Web feature on Air Force Link provides visitors with photos that highlight Air Force missions around the world.  Among this week's photos are:

In the Horn of Africa, an HC-130P aircraft takes off from Camp Lemonier, Djibouti, headed down range in support of a Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa mission. Airmen assigned there provide medical and humanitarian aid as well as assist with nation-building efforts in the region.

Tech. Sgt. Melanie Adams climbs a mountain March 30 near Kabul, Afghanistan, called the "Ghar." The 1,500-foot rocky mountain sits on the Afghan National Army's Kabul Military Training Center compound. Making the climb is a long-standing tradition for servicemembers deployed to Kabul. Sergeant Adams is a news team videographer deployed to Southwest Asia.

An F-22 Raptor performs for thousands during an air show April 1 at Naval Base Ventura County in Point Mugu, Calif. The F-22's aero design, advanced flight controls, thrust vectoring and high thrust-to-weight ratio allows it to outmaneuver its adversaries.

A C-17 Globemaster III sits in a hangar at McChord Air Force Base, Wash., as jet engine mechanics assigned to the 62nd Maintenance Squadron prepare to install a repaired engine during a home station inspection on April 2, 2007.
