Gas at 20,000 feet
A 12th Fighter Squadron F-15 Eagle from Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, refuels behind a KC-135 Stratotanker March 26 over the Pacific Alaska Range Complex. The KC-135 is from the 168th Air Refueling Squadron at Eielson AFB, Alaska. Nearly all internal fuel, up to 200,000 pounds, can be pumped through the flying boom, the KC-135's primary fuel transfer method. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Robert Wieland)
