Football: Air Force Academy's 2007 schedule released Published March 21, 2007 U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AFNEWS) -- The 2007 Air Force Academy football schedule, released March 21 by the Mountain West Conference, features 12 consecutive weeks of play and 11 televised games. Five of the games are nationally televised while six others are regional. The Falcons also will play two Thursday night games, one at home, and one other night home game. The Falcons open the season against South Carolina State on Saturday, Sept. 1, at noon in Falcon Stadium. The Falcons then travel to Utah on Sept. 8 for a 4 p.m. kickoff. Both games will be televised by the mtn. The Falcons' conference home opener is the following week against Texas Christian University on Thursday, Sept. 13, at 6 p.m. in Falcon Stadium. The game will be televised nationally by CSTV. Other nationally televised games include Navy on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. on CSTV; New Mexico on Thursday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. on VERSUS; Army on Saturday, Nov. 3, at 1:30 p.m. on CSTV; and Notre Dame on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 12:30 p.m. on NBC, as part of the Notre Dame television package. Air Force concludes the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 17, against San Diego State in Falcon Stadium at noon in the only non-televised game of the year.
