Golf: Air Force concludes opening day

Following the completion of two rounds, the Air Force golf team is tied for 13th place at the USF Triumph, being held at the par-71, 7,077-yard Pauma Valley Country Club. St. Mary's sits atop the team leaderboard at 573, while Wisconsin's Pat Duffy and Loyola Marymount's Jason D'Amore are tied for first in the individual standings at 136. 

Leading the way for the Falcons, who combined to shoot a two-round score of 601 (+33), is sophomore Shaun O'Bryant (Colorado Springs, Colo.), who currently sits in a tie for 17th place at 146 (+4). Senior Tyler Goulding (Tracy, Calif.) is next for Air Force, tied for 42nd with a 9-over-par 151. Rounding out the group of competitors for the Falcons are Chad Follett (Sr., El Paso, Texas), Andrew Gibson (So., San Ramon, Calif.) and Matt Tanis (Jr., Asbury, N.J.). Follett is currently tied for 61st at 154, while Gibson is just a stroke behind at 155 and Tanis finished the opening day at 158.

The final round of the USF Triumph is slated to begin March 13 at 8:00.
