Airman court-martialed for Ecstasy, marijuana use Published March 7, 2007 ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH, England (AFNEWS) -- During a special court martial here, an Airman pled guilty March 7 to wrongfully using a controlled substance. Airman Ronald Moore Jr., assigned to the 48th Medical Support Squadron, pled guilty to two counts of violating Article 112a of the Uniform Code of Military Justice -- wrongfully using a controlled substance, otherwise known as Ecstasy and marijuana --between March 1 and Sept. 6, 2006. Airman Moore was identified during an undercover drug bust at RAF Lakenheath September 2006. The judge sentenced Airman Moore to a reduction in rank to airman basic, confinement for four months and a bad conduct discharge from the U.S. Air Force. The trial for another Airman identified during the undercover drug bust is scheduled for March 13. Airman Basic Anthony Skervin, assigned to the 48th Component Maintenance Squadron, has been charged with two counts of violating Article 112a of the Uniform Code of Military Justice -- wrongfully using a controlled substance. Airman Skervin has also been charged with violating Article 134, as a result of previous overindulgence in intoxicating liquor or drugs incapacitating him in the proper performance of his duties.
