Roll Call focuses on recognizing Airmen for efforts

  • Published
Ensuring Airmen get recognized for a job well done and the naming of expeditionary medics as the 2007 Team of the Year are the focuses of this week's Roll Call.

The Roll Call says that it's easy to take for granted the Airmen who work so hard every day, but as part of the Air Force team, everyone must make the effort to share his or her pride.

Each year, the Air Force Association recognizes one career field as team of the year. The selection of expeditionary medics brings attention to the medical community's deployed mission, and the direct impact they have on saving lives in the war on terrorism.

The Air Force surgeon general, Lt. Gen. (Dr.) James G. Roudebush said that it's been the talent and dedication of Air Force medics that has ensured 97 percent of the causalities seen in deployed and joint theater hospitals will survive.
