Cadet cheating investigation continues at academy

The number of U.S. Air Force Academy cadets who are under investigation for cheating on a Fourth Class Knowledge Test has not changed since Feb. 15's update (Academy provides update on cadet cheating investigation).

Since cadet interviews began Feb. 2, a total of 39 cases have been investigated. 

Thirty-six cases, 24 of them involving athletes, have been forwarded for further investigation following normal procedures in the cadet honor system. Of the 36, 24 cadets have admitted to cheating, and 12 have denied it. All cases involve only fourth class (freshmen) cadets, members of the Class of 2010.

Further updates will be provided when additional information is available.
