Latest Roll Call addresses ancillary training

SAN ANTONIO (AFNEWS) --  Reducing ancillary training requirements by as much as 50 percent is the focus of this week's Roll Call.

Air Force leaders met recently at Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, to discuss supplemental training that is not related to the job.

Air Force leaders said that while ancillary training remains an important aspect of readiness, some training may no longer be necessary or can be streamlined. By streamlining the training process, they seek to return the focus to the Air Force mission.
