Life on the tarmac
Senior Airman Brandon Davis sits on the ramp of a C-130 Hercules waiting on the tarmac to take off with supplies Dec. 13 bound for Nairobi from Camp Lemonier, Djibouti. Airman Davis is a loadmaster deployed from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. Airmen assigned to the Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa help prevent conflict, promote regional stability and protect coalition interests in order to prevail against extremism.
