Airmen reflect on Veteran's Day heritage

SAN ANTONIO (AFPN) --  Since the first Armistice Day, on Nov. 11, 1918, America has recognized its veterans.

Today, Airmen around the globe are reflecting on the sacrifice, heritage and pride of America's veterans. To many deployed Airmen, the impact of Veteran's Day is even more personal.

One group of five deployed Airmen and one deployed DoD civilian have put their thoughts and reflects together in a special edition of the Sand Script - the deployed newsletter of the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing.
