Cadet named to all-conference women's soccer team

SALT LAKE CITY (AFPN) --  Air Force Academy midfielder/defender Rachael Emory was named to the 2006 All-Mountain West Conference Women's Soccer Team at its pre-championship banquet in Salt Lake City.

The sophomore cadet, originally from Wagoner, Okla., was named to the second team. She started in all 19 matches for the Falcons. She led the team with three assists.

The league's eight head coaches selected the all-conference first and second teams, Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, Freshman of the Year and Coach of the Year. The soccer championship begins Nov. 1, at Ute Field on the University of Utah campus.
