Crews sharpen skills at Atlantic Strike
Two F-16 Fighting Falcons take off from MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., for an Atlantic Strike exercise mission Oct. 24. The fighters, from the 20th Fighter Wing at Shaw AFB, S.C., were at MacDill for the U.S. Central Command bi-annual Atlantic Strike training event. Through realistic close-air support training, Atlantic Strike is designed to better prepare aircrews and Air Force joint tactical air controllers for deployments.
