Outstanding enlisted aircrew members announced for 2005 Published Oct. 10, 2006 WASHINGTON (AFPN) -- The recipients of the 2005 Staff Sgt. Henry E. "Red" Erwin Award for the outstanding enlisted aircrew members of the year have been announced. The awards recognize career enlisted aviators for outstanding job accomplishments, demonstration of leadership and sustained self-improvements in support of the enlisted aircrew operations career field. These awards are named for the former radio operator/gunner and Medal of Honor recipient. The winners are: Senior NCO: Master Sgt. Christopher Cooper, chief flight engineer, 2nd Airlift Squadron, Pope Air Force Base, N.C., Air Mobility Command. NCO: Tech. Sgt. Erik Thompson, evaluator flight engineer, 15th Special Operations Squadron, Hurlburt Field, Fla., Air Force Special Operations Command. Airman: Senior Airman Lisa Reagan, loadmaster, 4th Special Operations Squadron, Hurlburt Field, Fla., AFSOC.
