Air Force improves Web site

  • Published
To meet the needs of an ever-changing environment, starting April 10, Airmen can expect Air Force Link to have a slightly different look.

Maintained at Headquarters Air Force News Agency here, the site will give visitors more control over the content they wish to view. New category links, found on the top right-hand side of the main page, will allow visitors to access categorized news and information -- allowing users to immediately access the type of news they want to read. Specific categories include mission/training, Global War on Terror, personnel, sports/recreation, space/ technology and humanitarian.

Besides news categories, other improvements include thumbnail images to accompany stories on the main news page and the ability to e-mail photos off the photo gallery page. Visitors can also expect a redesigned and interactive Week in Photos page in the near future.

Air Force Link is the Air Force’s official source for news and information.
