In the latest Letter to Airmen, Secretary of the Air Force Michael W. Wynne and Chief of Staff of the Air Force T. Michael Moseley discuss Sexual Assault Awareness Month and the Air Force’s strides in sexual assault prevention and response efforts over the past year.

“Your Air Force leadership has been aggressively addressing this national problem. We will continue to dedicate ourselves to preventing it, and if it occurs, responding deliberately to sexual assault within the Air Force.

“We have made significant strides in our prevention and response efforts over the past year with mandatory awareness training to over 360,000 Airmen, worldwide,” said the Air Force’s top leaders.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month is observed nationally in April with the 6th highlighted as “The Day to End Sexual Violence.”
