Air Force Academy opens spring football training

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AFPN) -- The Air Force Academy opened spring football practice Monday, March 13, in preparation for the 2006 season. The team practices at 3:30 p.m. on the following days:

March 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 23
April 4, 5, 6, 8, 11, 12, 13, 15

Saturday practice times will be announced. The Falcons will conclude spring drills at Garry Berry Stadium in Colorado Springs on Saturday, April 15, with the annual "blue-silver" scrimmage.

The Falcons open their 2006 season Sept. 9 at Tennessee, followed by away games at Wyoming, San Diego State, Army, UNLV and TCU, and home games against New Mexico, Navy, Colorado State, BYU, Notre Dame and Utah.
