Sergeant sentenced in cocaine case

A military judge on Nov. 16 sentenced a staff sergeant for possession and intent to distribute cocaine.

Staff Sgt. Vincent U. Kerley received a bad conduct discharge, three years confinement, reduction in rank to airman basic and forfeiture of all future pay and allowances.

The sergeant plead guilty Nov. 15 to wrongful possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and conspiring to possess cocaine with intent to distribute.

He was a medical technician with the 355th Aerospace Medicine Squadron here.
