Food service workers die in auto accident Published Nov. 1, 2005 LACKLAND AIR FORCE BASE, Texas (AFPN) -- An investigation is under way to determine the cause of a one-vehicle accident that killed three females Oct. 31 in front of one of the gates here. Names of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next to kin. The incident occurred at about 10 a.m. when a four-door sedan traveling inbound crashed into a barrier outside the gate. The three women were food service workers employed by Allen Tharp and Associates, a government contractor that provides food service for all the enlisted dining facilities here.
