Stop Movement lifted for Tyndall; Keesler remains in effect Published Aug. 30, 2005 RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas (AFPN) -- Base officials have reinstated all permanent change of station and temporary duty travel to Tyndall Air Force Base, Fla. Stop Movement is still in effect for the following areas: Keesler AFB, Miss.; 361st Training Squadron, Detachment 2, Pensacola, Fla.; and 366th Det. 6, Gulfport Naval Air Station, Miss.Keesler residents, with the ability to do so, should contact family members as soon as possible to make them aware of their status, officials said.Evacuees should not return to the Keesler AFB area until directed to do so, which may not happen before Sept. 2,.base officials said. Evacuees should continue to monitor the Keesler AFB Web site at www.keesler.af.mil for more information. Airmen returning to Tyndall should pay close attention to travel warnings associated with damage from the hurricane.
