Eighteen Airmen selected for medical training Published May 4, 2005 RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas (AFPN) -- Air Force officials selected 18 enlisted Airmen to take part in the Tri-Service Physician Assistant Training Program at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.The board met at the Air Force Personnel Center here in March, selecting them from 48 applicants. The average selectee was 28 years old with eight years time in service and had a 3.3 grade point average. Selectees will attend one of three classes -- the first beginning in January.Those successfully completing Phase I and II courses for the PA program are commissioned as second lieutenants.Those selected are:-- Tech.
