Airmen killed in Oklahoma City bombing remembered
TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Col. Andrew Monteiro Jr. presents Constance Favorite with a plaque showing the medical group's memorial to her daughter, Airman 1st Class Lakesha Levy, who was killed in the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building bombing April 19, 1995. Airman Levy worked in the base laboratory, but was visiting the Oklahoma City federal building when it exploded. Along with Airman Levy's mother, about 50 family members, including her 12-year-old son, Corey Levy (pictured), visited here April 18 to see the base's bombing memorial, attend a service at the base chapel and see the lab where Airman Levy worked. Colonel Monteiro is the 72nd Medical Group commander. (U.S. Air Force photo by Margo Wright)
