Teets, acting secretary of the Air Force, has named a new interim member to the Air Force acquisition and management community's leadership team.Timothy A. Beyland has been assigned, on an interim basis, as the principal deputy assistant secretary of the Air Force for acquisition and management. He has also been delegated the authority to carry out all nonspace related acquisition and procurement duties of the assistant secretary of the Air Force for acquisition.Mr. Beyland will serve in the interim position until the position is filled or the secretary or acting secretary of the Air Force directs otherwise.Before his new duties, Mr. Beyland served as director of the Air Force Personnel Operations Agency and at the plans and integration division for the Air Force deputy chief of staff for personnel. He entered federal service in 1981.
