Air Force teams take two simulation awards Published Sept. 20, 2004 WASHINGTON (AFPN) -- Two Air Force teams are recipients of Department of Defense Modeling and Simulation Awards.The Air Force winners are:Acquisition -- Simulation and Analysis Facility Joint Unmanned Combat Air System Simulation Team from the advanced computational analysis directorate at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The team received the award for demonstrating exceptional technical innovation in the development and integration of the simulations, officials said.Analysis -- Integrated Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Architecture Development Team from the national security space office in Chantilly, Va. The team received the award for performing groundbreaking work in completing a detailed assessment of space and airborne ISR architectures supporting military operations, homeland security and counterterrorism.The awards will be presented at a ceremony in the Pentagon on Oct. 15.
